About Us

Lakeview Rink is a low board rink owned and operated by the Lakeview Community Association since 2018. Due to logistical and equipment factors, the LCA abandoned the pond rink in favour of the park location that potentially allows for a longer season, and ultimately better serve our youth during long Saskatoon winters. One of the great features of the rink, is the specially engineered plastic liner that does not damage the grass. So when the ice melts, the turf is ready to go for soccer season!

DID YOU KNOW? Lakeview and Briarwood are the first to adopt the temporary rink model in the city.

What's New

Thank you to everyone who donated money to the LCA Rink Campaign. Over the last few years the board has been busy putting those dollars to work. A storage shed and boxes were completed in the summer of 2020. The final phase of the project was completed in the fall with the installation of a permanent light.

Volunteers

There would be no rink without volunteers, which is why we are always looking to add people to our crew to help with maintenance, as well as set-up  and tear down in fall and spring.  To get involved contact Scott at rink@lakeviewca.com

Public Skating

To make sure the rink is for everyone, supervised public skating will be offered. Watch the LCA Facebook and Instagram pages for dates and times.

Partners

We would like to thank the following partners:
  • City of Saskatoon
  • St. Bernard School
  • Astro Towing
  • Boston Pizza (Lakewood location)

If you, or your business would like to be a partner/sponsor contact info@lakeviewca.com
