Yoga – A system of physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to promote bodily or mental control and well-being. This class is considered intermediate.
Bootcamp – High intensity workouts that change to involve HITT, metabolic, and/or Tabata type workouts to keep you on your toes
Zumba – An aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance. It incorporated interval training with fast and slow movements.
Pickleball - is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over the net.
Run, Jump, Throw – A nationally certified program developed by Athletics Canada that teaches fundamental movement skills and develops physical literacy. Using track and field inspired games, activities and skill challenges lead by instructors specifically trained to teach the fundamentals of running, jumping, throwing
Dance 1 and 2 – This is a great way to introduce your child to dance! Let them learn the basics of body movement and coordination to music in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Learn to Skate - 4:30-5:30 pm on January 20th and February 24th. Instruction with members of the Saskatoon Blades. Kids must have their own skates and helmet. Kids under-6 MUST be accompanied by an adult on the ice.
Home Alone – This course is 2.5 hours designed to provide children aged 10-14 years with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. See the website for details in the future. Note: There are 14 seats available.
Babysitting Basics – This course is aimed at 11 to 16 year olds interested in taking responsibility for younger children. Content in the 6.5 hour class (30 min for lunch break) includes safety practices, child care basics, introductory first aid and activities to try.
